The Public Works Department has the most varied responsibilities of any department in the Borough. It is responsible for the maintenance of buildings, parks, swimming pools, vehicles, traffic controls including signals, street marking, signs and parking meters. Additional responsibilities include snow removal, street sweeping, trash collections, street patching and paving and storm sewer installation and repair.
